Minneapolis: FIRST MONDAYS at the Danish American Center, 3030 W. River Parkway (i.e. just on the Minneapolis end of the Lake St. Bridge). Always a Scandinavian tune or two and plenty of time for requests. 7pm, free and open to all.
Saint Anthony Park: THIRD MONDAYS at 7pm with Ann Reed: live at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 2136 Carter Ave, St. Paul, and online via Ann’s YouTube channel.
Loring Park, Mpls.: TUESDAY once a month at 7pm in the Arts Center at 14th and Willow. Parking alongside the building for those with accessibility needs. Generally the second Tuesday of the month, with some exceptions. Remaining 2025 dates: Tuesday October 14. Tuesday November 4. Tuesday December 9.
QUARTERLY at Northeast United Methodist Church, at NE Cleveland and Lowry, 7pm. A welcoming all-ages sing with child care and cookies and bars and lemonade &c. There’s even a community toy library onsite. Next date: Wednesday October 29 2025.
DECEMBER at CROONERS Supper Club in Fridley MN: Dan leads Holiday sing-alongs in the Dunsmore Room each December. Check the calendar for the four dates this year, tickets do sell out. Always a special guest performer at each one.
PIANO BAR: Forepaugh’s Restaurant in St. Paul closed its doors in 2019, bringing to an end the lively Wednesday night all-request sing-along piano bar (made possible by Post-It® notes, photo below). The search continues for a new location…
