CHANGE: Friday June 21, Apple Valley: Lush Country will play INDOORS due to predicted rain Friday evening. New venue is Bogart’s Entertainment Center at 14917 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley. 6-9pm. A free night of classic country hits from the 40s 50s and 60s, plenty of room for dancing.

Thursday June 27, Fridley: Summertime Singing Under the Stars at Crooners, with seating and food underneath Crooners Lakeside Tent looking out on Moore Lake. Lots of Oklahoma, South Pacific, King & I and Sound of Music to celebrate Richard Rodgers’ birthday. 730-9pm.

Monday July 8 Minneapolis: monthly community sing at the Danish American Center, the SECOND Monday this month, back to the usual first Monday in August. 3030 W. River Parkway (at the Lake St. Bridge), 7pm, free.

Tuesday July 9 Fridley: Dane Stauffer returns as Dan’s guest underneath the Lakeside Tent at Crooners. Anyone’s guess as to what Dane picks. Come find out.

Summertime Singing Under the Stars at Crooners: Outdoor sing-along nights with seating and food underneath the big top tent that’ll be pitched in Crooners back yard, right there on the shore of Moore Lake. Thursday June 27, Wednesday July 31, more dates to come. 730-9pm.

August 8 through 18, Minneapolis: Chronofon (Prudence Johnson, Bradley Greenwald, Diana Grasselli and Dan Chouinard) returns to Open Eye Theater with a newly reworked show on the intertwined lives of Elizabeth Hauptmann, her lover poet Bertolt Brecht, composer Kurt Weill and his wife and interpreter Lotte Lenya.

Saturday September 14, Grand Marais: With Kevin Kling and others for the annual Unplugged concert fundraiser for North House Folk School.

Sunday October 13, Wayzata: Soloist on “Rhapsody in Blue” and more with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, 3pm. Sharing the stage with soloist colleagues Maria Jette and Bradley Greenwald.
