Thanks to all who came to Cafe Europa II at the Fitzgerald Theater Saturday night May 31. And thanks to all the great performers on the show: Maria Jette, Peter Ostroushko, Josette Antomarchi, the Rose Ensemble, Brass Messengers, John Munson, Dirk Freymuth, Sima Shumilovsky, Dennis Curley and Diane Jarvi.

MPR plans to broadcast the show Saturday June 7 at 7pm on 91.1FM in the Twin Cities. After that, the show will be archived on mpr.org, as is Cafe Europa I (2005)

I've just pulled together a CD compilation featuring tracks with some of my best music pals here in town. It's called "Collaborationist" and will be available by mid-month on cdbaby.com. Listen to samples here. Let me know how you like it.

Join me in a community singalong in Loring Park Thursday night June 5 in the Rec Center, starting around 6pm. It's completely open and unstructured; who knows how good we'll sound? I'm betting on good.
